Isn't it possible that none of us actually exist but are simply characters programmed into some cosmic game? ?

In our very limited knowledge of computer animation , graphics , sensory perception and thought process we can see the tip of a much greater ice-berg of knowledge . Even with the stone-age devices that man currently uses it is evident that it is possible to program a variety of reactions to each of a variety of sensory perceptions , each reaction dependent upon a multitude of various data input to the processor . Functional software applications that have the "ability " to think are currently being tested and refined . Given all of the knowledge available about nano-electronics and computerization it becomes clear that it is possible that nothing that we believe to exist actually exists other than in some " cosmic " computer animation . In fact it is entirely that the only one who actually exists in that arena is you ( or me ) and all others are simply software life . Given the mindset of this line of thought , there definitely would have to be a creator . God ?
