Is it possible my globe of the world is a voodoo globe?

Here in Australia, we have an annual rugby league series called the State of Origin. Ever since I was a kid, I have always had a keen interest in this three game series; it really is the best rugby league series featuring the best rugby league players in the world. As a resident of NSW, for the last five years, I have been greatly disappointed because Queensland has beat us a record five years in a row. So lately I’ve been staring daggers at Queensland on my globe of the world and occasionally I jab pins in it. It just so happens that Queensland has been severely affected by natural disasters recently. A lot of the state was recently flooded and just this morning, the biggest cyclone ever seen in Australia ripped into the state’s north. Do you think it’s because my globe is a voodoo globe? I did buy it from a person who looked they might have been Haitian…
