Go to your city/county website and find about the small claims court in your area, it will have forms, etc. Check for a fair housing non profit in your area, talk to them. You must be prepared, know the law, do your homework. They should have given you a rental agreement. The issue of rent vs. owed commissions is an apples and oranges argument. Check with legal aid in your area.
