Noobe needs help with new brakes!?

alright soo it turns out my car is going to need new brakes and i'm planning on just upgrading my whole brake set up front and rear, but i don't know much about this area so i was hoping someone could help me out, so basically i need new rotors, pads, calipers break lines, am i missing anything people?? also what's the difference between slotted rotors and cross drilled? and is there anything i should look out for in this modification? things to keep an eye out for? btw i was thinking about going with the brand rotora seeing as how that's the only brand i came across that makes aftermarket brakes for my car. thanks in advance
