Unpleasant smell from ?

i have a unpleasant smell from my . my boyfriend smells it, i smell it. and its really embarising. i dont have any itching, burning, pain, just the smell. I called my gyno and they said a yeast infection and to wait 12 weeks. I know thats not what it is. and I dont like feeling unclean. what should i do?
